India vs Australia 2nd Test Match Live Update: India ahead Australia after Day 1

India vs Australia 2nd Test Match 2020: India and Australia have entered into the second test match and as expected, the test match is going very interesting with India keeping Australia under control.

To be precise, we can say that India are ahead of Australia currently in the 2nd test match and have performed very well given that skipper Virat Kohli and Mohammad Shami are not playing.

After winning the toss, the hosts opted to bat first and were blown by India with some early Wickets.

Burns was the first Wicket that fell of Australia and was taken by Jasprit Bumrah on zero score.

Australia only managed to score 195 runs in their first innings and were taken all-out by team India.

Jasprit Bumrah enjoyed the bowling as he took four Wickets while as debudant Mohammad Siraj also took two crucial Wickets.

Mohammad Siraj, who is playing his first International test match took Wickets of Labuschagne and Chris Green.

Labuschagne was highest scorer for Australia with 48 runs from 132 deliveries and Travis Head at second position with 38 runs from 92 balls.

Australia were all-out for 195 runs from 72.3 overs. Jasprit Bumrah took 4 while as Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammad Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja took 3, 2 and 1 wicket respectively.

India also scored 36 runs on day one for the loss of one Wicket and trail by 159 runs. Team India lost Mayank Agarwal’s wicket who was taken by Starch on duck.

And as of now, after Day 1 Stumps, debudant Shubam Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara are on the crease.

Gill is batting on 28 runs from 38 deliveries while as Pujara is on 7 from 23 balls.
