Ramiz Raja, Former Pakistan Captain and Cricketer and a well-known commentator of today’s Cricket world said that Mohammad Hafeez and Shoib Malik should take retirement from International Cricket gracefully.
“They should leave international cricket with respect and gracefully,” Ramiz Raja said.
Talking to Media on a video conference, Ramiz Raja said that he doesn’t make personal comments on players.
“I come across both during my assignments that is why I avoid making personal comments. There is no doubt both have served Pakistan cricket well all these years. But now I think it is time they gracefully retired from the Pakistan team,” he said.
Ramiz Raja said that both Mohammad Hafeez and Shoib Malik, without any doubt have served Pakistan cricket very well but now it’s time for them to take retirement from International Cricket.
Ramiz Raja added that if the said players will retire now, it will help pakistan Cricket.
“I think if they retire now it will help Pakistan cricket. We have a good pool of players and we must move ahead.”
39 years old Mohammad Hafeez has already said that he will retire from all formats of cricket after the T20 World Cup 2020.
The 2020 World Cup 2020 is scheduled to take place in October this year in Australia.
Shoiab Malik, 38, however has not made any announcement yet. Malik has already retired from test Cricket four years ago.
